The overzealous
hands of the past leadership have undone the benevolent will of the people and
the stench of their incessant corruption has boiled over to the precipice of
change. The mayoral seat has again and again presided over failed promises of
the change the residents of Perth
  Amboy have yearned for a long time. The gnawing desire
to inject a fresh face of hope and certainty about the destiny of this great
city through hands trained on success and delivery has finally beckoned. In
Nicholas J. Pirro, fellow residents, there never was an opportunity to get it
so right, and never were the residents of Perth Amboy so poised to making a
defining decision informed by the belief in sound leadership benchmarked on
prosperity. And now ladies and gentlemen, I rise to the gracious challenge of
embodying these dreams and aspirations of what should be and represent fully
the city we want.

Nicholas J. Pirro
believes in the people of Perth Amboy
as much as they believe in honesty and truth. Born some 31 years ago in New Jersey, I have
achieved what many of my peers in this race regard only as exceptional. My five
year stay in Perth Amboy
has borne fruitful endeavors towards the advancement of this city. The humility
and belief in the possibilities in this city continue to inform my motivation
to seek opportunities in various areas that are key in service delivery. As an
applicant for both the Urban Enterprise Zone and the Business Improvement
District Advisory Boards, I aspire to better the well being of this city and
cater for the immediate concerns in rising property taxes and improvement of
health in public health institutions. The perennial problems suffered in the
hands of the present administration which has toyed with grave issues like
unemployment, terminal HIV/AIDS and other venereal diseases must be stemmed
right from the bud.

Every hard working person knows that it takes
sheer effort to rise above partisan interests and stand tall in the wake of
seemingly insurmountable odds. A man of the people is not one because he proclaims
so but one easily displayed by the things he does and aspires to do for the
people and with the people. My efforts lie with the people joining the Platelets
for Perth Amboy blood Drive at our Raritan Bay Area YMCA. The relentless zeal to
serve the great people of Perth Amboy will yield in efforts to join the United
States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 43 as well as work together in support of
the
Hands to Japan and Pacific Lands Relief Efforts Fund. In this, the
receptive mark of this society will go down in history in making good the
plight of neighbors in distress as an embodiment of this society.

The mudslinging
politics full of corruption and barren promises should never again capture our
attention. Vas and his constituents have no room in the current dispensation
because the high unemployment rates, escalating STD and HIV and AIDS rates, and
drug abuse speak against them. When we learn from our mistakes, we become wiser
and hardly repeat the same mistakes again. The people of Perth Amboy demand a leadership that is free
from self-corrupting conceit and deception. We have seen the same trend again
and again in the leadership of Diaz. The role models to steer the revival of
hope in our administration begins now, in Nicholas J. Pirro. The time of laying
facts on the table about how resources are used is now. The scourge of AIDS and
STDs need immediate redress through public education and setting up of
rehabilitation centers to help drug abusers cope and lead normal productive
lives. A creative and innovative leader will oversee the transformation process
of our society to reduce high unemployment rates, a possibility Pirro hopes to
make happen with the help of more volunteer and outreach programs, given your
mandate.

Nicholas J. Pirro is
your next door neighbor, warm-hearted, and a regular in downtown business
circles be it the mall or bank along State
  Street or even whiling at the Water Front. In
tendering my candidature to be your next mayor, the very opportunities in us
the people, our culture, and local business stand a fair chance to prosper once
again. Empowerment of the people is a matter of urgency because the
contributions of everyone count in creating ample atmosphere for businesses,
service delivery, employment, and education. The elimination of redundant projects
like Delaney and Movie Theatre and conversion of old Municipal building into a Historical
Museum would not only save taxpayers money but also aid in income generation
and creation of employment. Hence, there remains an opportunity to mend the
waywardness of our leaders and endorse policy changes to help heal the rot in
this city. In this, the duty and responsibility solely rests on each one of us
in choosing to vote out bad leadership and electing accountability, progress,
and transparency in governance.

In closing
remarks, Nicholas J. Pirro is the true leader Perth Amboy has been yearning for. I salute
your determination to close the doors of the past and open wide those of hope
and prosperity, and the unity of purpose to turn around the fortunes long run
down and neglected. Vote wisely. Vote Change. Vote Nicholas J. Pirro.

”Strong leadership takes hard work, a commitment to the right priorities, and the ability to put problem solving ahead of politics. That’s exactly the kind of leadership we need
in Perth Amboy’s next mayor.”

   For too long the current administration has fumbled and failed to yield the results “we the people” initially voted them into office to provide. With fingers crossed and a promise of those results fallen at our
feet, change is necessary in our advancement as a city.

We have become a city of self doubt, limited by our governments stagnating ways of operating.

**A short list of concerns our current policy makers have neglected

-Unemployment

- AIDS and numerous other STD’s

-Drugs and crime

-The lack of oppertunities to be productive and prosperous

-Having one of the highest property tax rates in New Jersey affects the people

These issues have yet to be addressed by our current administration, be it in short term or long term definition.

Nicholas J.Pirro is indeed the change our city desperately needs.

By creating:

-Outreach programs that focus on AIDS and STD education

-Destroying the abandoned Delaney Project and building a drug/alcohol rehabilitation center

- Creating a working relationship with groups like JOB CORP

-Turning the old Municipal building into a Historical Museum of our city

-Inviting larger companies to inhabit the old Movie Theatre abandonment

We can effectively begin to change how we conduct ourselves as a unified city.

Creating jobs, Highlighting the peoples health and hindering rising property taxes would collectively be helping our city prosper and engage each other and surrounding municipalities effectively.

This is the beginning of what Nicholas J. Pirro is campaigning for, on behalf of The People Of Perth Amboy

We are the midst of a serious economic crisis. And in particular, California has taken a big hit – high unemployment, a public education system that fails our kids, and a degraded environment that is negatively impacting our quality of life.
But our politicians, the people we’ve elected to fix these problems, are not doing their job. At all levels of government, politicians are busy serving special interests – and themselves. The privilege of public service has degraded into abuses by electeds – big salaries and benefits, gifts from lobbyists and a disconnection with the real needs of our community and families.
I am running to be your next Assembly representative to fix these issues. I ask for your support and vote. If you send me to Sacramento I will fight for your interests, not the political parties, lobbyist or special interests. If you elect me I will focus like a laser beam on three issues of critical importance to our future:

1. Jobs. We must put the full weight and power of California’s government towards generating more jobs, rebuilding our manufacturing base with clean energy industries and creating conditions so that small businesses can thrive again. Putting Californians back to work will be my mission – and I will not stop fighting until every person in our district who needs a job can get one.

2. Education. Our public education system has failed our kids. We must institute comprehensive reform of our schools and their management. We must fully fund public education so that our kids have the opportunity to compete with students from anywhere in the world. I know that we can have a world-class public education system again – and I will not stop until we achieve it.

3. Quality of Life. The Los Angeles region has suffered from years of environmental neglect. We now have the worst air quality in the nation, the worst traffic and among the poorest water quality of any city in the United States. Smart, sensible action must be taken to restore the wonderful quality of life that made Los Angeles a magnet for people from across the country and across the world.

These problems are challenging. But I am ready to roll up my sleeves and start working to fix them. I ask you for your support. Together we can make progress, together we can make a better future for ourselves and our kids.

My Plan

The below mentioned call to action are what I plan to execute when I am elected to the Office of US Senator representing the State of Wisconsin. Most of these actions, where mentioned, are already defined in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States and the Articles of Freedom as developed by the Continental Congress of 2009.

1. Protecting the United States of America.

A. My first and forth most duty as a representative of the State of Wisconsin and its people is to ensure that our country and its citizens are protected from invasion by foreign and hostile forces. This includes the invasion of illegal immigrants, drug lords and the northern command of the Mexican revolutionaries. To accomplish this, I will use every means possible including writing and introducing a bill for Congress to direct the President of the United States to take 40,000 America troops from overseas stations and put 30,000 of them with full battle armament on the borders with the remaining 10,000 troops assisting ICE in removing illegal’s from this country.

B. I will introduce a bill that will outlaw the so called anchor-baby tactic. Only babies born to the defined and legal citizens of the United States will be citizens.

C. Re-introduce and Enforce the USC Title 8, Section 237; Section 1324 and Section 1325, and Article IV Section IV of the Constitution which reads: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.”

D. I will ensure by any and all legal means that The Posse Comitatus Act is enforced. I will also introduce bills to ensure the Northern Command of the United States military, FEMA, and any other such agency of the Federal government are monitored to protect the rights of America citizens.

E. I will also ensure that the civil rights and 4th Amendment rights of ALL legal citizens are enforced.

F. I will also introduce bills and lobby for Congress to follow the instruction of the “Articles of Freedom” pertaining to:

Remind the President by whatever means necessary of his mandated duty to take “Care” that the immigration “Laws be faithfully executed” as mandated in Article II Section 3 Paragraph 1 of the Constitution.

Appoint an Investigative Committee for the purpose of determining whether the President has faithfully upheld the Constitution, in accordance with Article II, Section 3 Clause 5.

If the President fails to fulfill said obligation cited above after the instructions from Congress, by default he has violated his Oath of Office as under Article II Section 1 Paragraph 8 of the Constitution and can be subject to impeachment proceedings and criminal or civil action.

That they shall not enact any legislation that provides Social Services or any form of amnesty for illegal aliens.

G. To work with the State of Wisconsin and its people in education and recommendation of the civil actions defined within the Articles of Freedom.

H. I will introduce a bill that defines English as the Official Language of the United States and is the only language used in documents produced by the government.

1. Work to implement by any and all legal means, including introducing bills that according to the US Constitution and the findings in the Articles of Freedom of the Delegates of the several States in Continental Congress 2009 assembled to:

Protest the misinterpretation of the General Welfare Clause by Congress that results in the tyranny of unjust taxes upon the People.

Find the “general welfare” is neither “promoted” nor “provided for” when Congress exceeds the enumerated powers of the Constitution, and that the General Welfare Clause does not provide constitutional justification for:

o   Mandated or government run health insurance, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or any form of welfare payments to individuals; but those who were forced to contribute into any of these programs shall be reimbursed less any payments from those programs they may have received, and inflation to be accounted for in the calculations of amounts due;

o   Mandatory vaccinations, mental health screenings, or collection of medical data of individuals;

o   The violation of the right of individuals to decide which foods, substances, or medications they put into their bodies;

o   Bailouts, grants, loans, investments or any other form of corporate welfare;

o   The disguised regulation of private activity through subsidies;

o   Grants to churches or other religious or charitable organizations for any purpose;

o   Federal funding of education at any level;

o   The coercion of States and municipalities to adopt national standards by threatening to withhold funds;

o   The building of infrastructure, except as enumerated in the Constitution;

o   Economic stimulus grants, loans or any other appropriations for State and local governments, except as enumerated in the Constitution;

o Any other federal law, statute or regulation that is not specifically enumerated in the Constitution.

2. To introduce bills and all legal means as defined in Article I of the “Articles of Freedom” that:

The Constitution of the United States, as the Supreme Law of the Land, is based upon the Principles of Liberty stated in the Declaration of Independence. Therefore, the Oath or Affirmation taken by all government officials at every level to protect and defend the Constitution also binds them to support those principles in the Declaration of Independence.

Therefore, no public official may lawfully take any action whatsoever that:

results in the surrender, alienation or delegation of the sovereignty of the People of the United States

by entangling alliances, special relationships, or through political or economic subservience, advances the interests of any other nation, international organization, supranational entity or private organization at the expense of the sovereignty of the United States.

Any such action by a public official is a violation of that individual’s Oath or Affirmation of Office and is therefore treason against the Constitution for the United States of America. That Congress will enforce to the highest possible punishment as defined by law, including execution.

Introduce bills to repeal all legislation for which it cannot show constitutional authority under the enumerated powers of Article I, Section 8.

3.       Taxes

A. I will work to lobby and implement the FairTax. Information about the FairTax can be found at:

http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer

B. To reduce the money need to support the federal government I will introduce bills to eliminate or reduce the 12 Unconstitutional Federal departments, the many Unconstitutional agencies and Acts . A list of these can be found at: http://www.ruleoflawrestoration.com/resources/lawlessness/

C. Lobby to repeal the 16th amendment.

4.       The Federal Reserve

A. I will work to ensure that the Federal Reserve is audited to ensure we have all the information on our money and banking system is divulged.

B. I will work to eliminate the Federal Reserve.

C. I will work to ensure our monetary system is based on the Gold and Silver standards.

5.       Energy

A. I will work to ensure that all Americans have access to the energy that we need to prosper. This does not imply that we have free energy, but that what we do have is cheap enough for all to use.

B. I will work to reduce our dependency on foreign oil, to ensure that our drilling for oil and natural gas is as safe to the citizens and the environment as humanly possible. This includes opening up areas that have been off-limited by pass administrations and environmental groups.

C. I will work to repeal any and all Cap and Trade bills and Green-House Gas Treaties made by previous administrations. That all regulations on energy and environmental concerns are based on findings that are in line with American values and not that of the UN.

D. I will work to introduce bills that will allow for Nuclear energy and new refineries.

E. I will work to ensure that technology for wind, solar and any other energy related science is continued by research and market conception.

6.       United Nations

A. I will work to introduce bills that the United States pull out as members of the United Nations.

B. I will work to lobby and introduce a bill that will get the UN building off American soil so that the American tax payer does not keep financing it’s maintenance, staff and any other requirement currently being funded by tax money.

C. I will work to repeal any agreement, treaties and rules made by previous administrations that restrict or reduces any freedoms and rights to Americans including, CAP & Trade, Guns, Environmental (LOST and agenda 21) and food.

D. I will work to ensure that our foreign policies are made for the purpose of preserving and improving America. Not benefitting the UN and the New World Order.

7. War, National Defense and Veterans

A. I will work to ensure that all future wars we fight will be defensive, clearly defined and constitutional.

B. I will work to ensure that our domestic liberties are protected with a strong security including missile and star-war defenses. That our military have the latest technology needed to defend this country.

C. I will work to ensure that the conflicts we are currently in, we will give our troops the support they need to win, to get the job done and to come home.

D. I will ensure that once home we will demand the finest care possible for our veterans. I will introduce bills that ensure that the only medical and entitlement programs the federal government provides are for our military personnel.

8. Second Amendment. In accordance with the Constitution of the United States and the Articles of Freedom I will work to:

A.      Repeal all federal statutes regulating the ownership, use and transfer of firearms and ammunition;

B.      Repeal any federal statutes which provide for the taxation or registration of firearms and ammunition;

C.      Abolish the Department of Homeland Security and thereby return the responsibility for domestic security to the Militias of the Several States; the term militia, inherently separate from the State National Guard, means “Constitutional Defense Force,” comprising all citizenry capable of bearing arms, and under proper authority, in defense of themselves and each of the several States;

D.      4. Make statutes providing for organizing, arming and disciplining the Militia and for governing such part of them as may be called to serve the United States and, reserve to the states all other powers relating to the Militia;

E. Encourage and support, and cease and desist from infringing upon, the duty of the People to revitalize the “well-regulated Militia of each of the Several States”.

.

9. I will work to introduce a bill named “Bring the Politicians Home” that allows for the relation of US Representatives to our local districts and US Senators to our State Capitals. This will ensure a security upgrade on protection of our government representatives and ensure our Congress is accountable to the voters and not easy prey to lobbyist. More information can be found at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELb9kvKhPPI&feature=related

There are many more actions coming and in the coming days will address them here. But I do support the Articles of Freedom and will work to ensure their recommendations are carried out. I have also signed the pledge of Tax payers, the Rule of Law and many more to ensure our freedoms.

Biography:

Residence: Kaysville since 1995
Family: Married for 35 years, three married children and three grandchildren
Education: B.A., Elementary Education, BYU; M.S., Instructional Technology, USC
Professional experience: Software Project Manager, Business Analyst,
Software Developer, College Instructor, Elementary School Teacher
What I do for fun: I love to hike, play guitar and piano, write, and spend time with my grandchildren.

The following are samples of issues facing Utah and my responses to them.

Education

Education is critical to maintain the liberties of Americans. I have two degrees in education and I have taught in public school and in private college. I love education and I love children, but I am not a proponent of mandatory public education. I believe parents should have choice and control. I would be less concerned about public schools if they were run by the local people. A state board of education is too large and bureaucratic to effectively manage the curricula of all public schools. A federal department of education is even worse. I am conceptually in favor of charter schools, vouchers, and home schooling. We just need to learn how to manage these options correctly for the best benefit of our children and families.

The Economy

This is obviously a giant topic on which books can be, and have been, written. In a nutshell, I believe in free enterprise. The role of government is to protect my rights as a citizen, so that I have the freedom to own and control my property. It is not the role of government at any level to create jobs, set wages, manage my health, or invest in one business or company over another through subsidies and tax advantages. Where a community binds together to provide services, those services should be managed at the lowest possible level in the government hierarchy. The best things that Utah can do are to demand the federal government to abide by the Constitution and to reduce the state budget so that taxes can be reduced, so that the citizens can keep and control more of their own property.

Illegal Immigration

As everyone knows, this is a complicated situation today because the federal and state governments have not performed their duties for many years. There are multiple generations of illegal immigrants who have come to, and grown up in, America and know no other country as home. Shame on us! Nevertheless, we are a republic of laws, and everyone who lives within the republic must abide by those laws. Illegal immigrants commit felonies when they steal identities, forge documents, and perjure themselves to obtain jobs. If we grant amnesty and invite felons to become citizens, ought we also to grant amnesty for other felonies, such as grand theft, larceny, fraud, racketeering, robbery or murder? I have friends who went through the proper channels to obtain a visa, enter the country legally, wait a long time, fight through a mountain of red tape, and go through great challenges and expense to become citizens of the United States. Should I tell them that they would have been better off sneaking illegally across the border and waiting for the government to pardon them? Steve Sandstrom and a contingent of co-sponsors in the state legislature are proposing a bill on immigration control that is similar too Arizona’s law, but contains improvements from the lessons learned in Arizona. I would support Mr. Sandstrom’s bill. Let us uncover those who are illegally in our state and turn them over to the federal agency whose responsibility it is, by law, to deal with immigration issues and demand that they do their jobs.

The Initiative Process

I am, by principle, not in favor of initiatives. The United States and the state of Utah are constitutional republics. As such, we elect representatives to legislatures and invest in them the power to make laws. We are not a democracy. The citizenry at large is not a legislative body. If we do not like the laws that our representatives give us, we should exercise our ultimate power as citizens to bring them home and send other representatives who will repeal bad laws and create better laws. Specifically regarding ethics, we do not we need a law to dictate ethics or a commission to regulate ethics. We need to elect more ethical representatives and stop electing corrupt politicians.

The Budget

Another complicated issue with a simple but painful solution. This state does not need higher taxes and more revenue. It needs to spend less – much less. Over the past ten years that I have been watching, the state budget has grown faster than the rate of population increase. For the past several years the state has run in the red and has depended on the Rainy Day fund to meet the constitutional mandate to balance the budget. Financial planners and economists will say that when an individual or a family starts dipping into the principle of their nest egg, they are in serious trouble. The same is true for our state. There is no secret to reducing the budget. We first must find waste and fraud and eliminate it. In the multi-billion dollar budget the size of Utah’s, there is bound to be waste. Once we do our best to remove waste, the next target has to be services and programs that are unconstitutional or are otherwise inappropriate as government roles. This will be painful because it will result in a loss of public-sector jobs. However, if we can get free enterprise working again by removing heavy tax burdens and suffocating regulations on our businesses, I believe many more private-sector jobs will be created than were lost in the public sector. More people will become wealth producers instead of wealth consumers.

What causes will I champion?
Until we elect a majority of people in Washington who understand and abide by the oath they take to sustain and defend the US Constitution, the individual sovereign states must exercise their responsibilities in the balance-of-power model to resist the encroachment of the general government on the states and the citizens. We have begun that process in Utah with such legislation as the Fire Arms Freedom Act, the No Child Left Behind Opt-out bill, the nullification of Obama-care, and the Eminent Domain and Utah’s Land bill. I would champion these efforts and support other efforts to work within the state and with other states to restore and reinstitute the Constitution as the law of the land.

Further, I believe it is essential to a republic for the people to have regular communications with their representatives. I will use all means at my disposal to keep the people in my district informed of what is happening at the state and federal levels that impact them. I want them to know what I am thinking, and I want to know what they are thinking. I cannot represent people whom I do not know and with whom I do not communicate.

My most fulfilling civic service
I served for two years on the Kaysville Safety Committee, which acted as a citizen advisory board to the Kaysville police and fire departments. Through the committee, I became aware of, and was able to participate in, such programs as Neighborhood Watch, Mobile Watch, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

Over the past few years, I have been voicing concerns about local issues decided at the state level. One such concern is that our legislators effectively set their own compensation. As you know, we negotiate own salaries and per diems with our employers. If our state legislators work for us, they should as us for their compensation. Next, it disturbs me to be the one to have to report to you that an unelected body is forcing the hand of our elected officials and has taxing authority over not just us, but half of the population of Minnesota! With this power, our local officials are made to be puppets and our collective decisions and interests are therein disregarded. Like you, I am concerned about the state debt created by the spending of our tax dollars. The best way to promote fiscal responsibility is for Minnesotans to vote on taxation proposals. Those proposals should define the expiration of a tax and the purpose for which it is intended.

Because my statutorily based arguments have been continually dismissed by those in power, many private residents have urged me to run for office. Now, I come to you as your neighbor with issues that directly affect central Washington County: legislators should not have the ability to set their own compensation; unelected bodies should not have taxing authority or the power to force the hand of elected officials; and taxing decisions should be voted on by those Minnesotans on whom they are imposed. Minnesota law is only as legitimate as its government, and Minnesota government is only as legitimate as our collective voices. It is extremely important to mention that, like you, I am not directly affiliated with any nationwide political party or lobbying organization. Days after being nominated for office by the residents of our cities and townships, I became the first 2010 candidate to be quoted in print stating the fact that my lack of political ties commands me to be beholden expressly and explicitly only to you.
